Question for FSD Porter V2.0 owners (help with a review)

Featured Replies

I am currently working on a review of the new FSD Porter (V2.0) for Avsim, and I need to see if some issues I am seeing with the Load Manager are bugs in the software or if they are just unique to my PC, so I would appreciate feedback from Porter owners on this.Regardless of what is set in the Load Manager for payload and aux tanks on/off, the fuel&payload window in FS always shows a payload of 170lbs, a gross weight of 4993lbs, a max gross weight of 4850lbs (and therefore an overweight message), and the presence left and right aux. fuel tanks, each with 64 gallons of fuel. Those numbers don't seem to be affected by any payload changes in the Load Manager software that I can tell, and although the visual models in FS9 will show the aux. fuel tank settings correctly, the aux tanks in the fuel&payload manager are present and full regardless of what is set in the FSD Load Manager. The second issue is that I cannot get the Load Manager to remember settings for specific paint schemes (in terms of payload or aux tank presence), something the older version of the Porter did just fine.Whenever I change a setting (like removing the aux tanks) for a specific livery in the Load Manager, that change seems to be applied to every livery for that model. I have tried every possible combination of selecting liveries and the "save" button in the Load Manager, but the changes still apply to every livery.I would appreciate it if I could get some feedback form other Porter V2.0 owners to see if these issues are present in the software itself or if they are unique to my PC. I have asked FSD about this, and all I have heard bask is that they would look at it, which doesn't confirm anything for me.

DEP issue. Or something to do with your anti-virus or firewall. Wuith no error message the ONLY thing preventing the execution of the data must be something on your hard drive. What system specs - INCLUDE the version of FS and IE you are running please.Everytghing works fine on mine: XP Home SP2, IE7 RC1, DEP under control of administrator, no Microsoft Defender on my system, etc. etc.Allcott

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Porters several times with no AV or firewall running, and the issues still appear, so I don't think this is a firewall or antivirus issue. I am running WinXP SP2 on an AMD X2 5000+, Geforce 7900GT with 2gigs of ram on an Asus MN-2 SLI motherboard.
