August 29, 200619 yr An observation and a question:It seems to me that there are three types of fluidity-reducing events.1) Stutters: When objects, scenery, etc. load, they cause the sim to pause for fractions of seconds while said items load - making the sim seem to stutter.2) Choppiness: Run-of-the-mill low frame rates.3) Jerkiness: I haven't seen much discussion of this, either because I haven't been paying attention (likely), or becuase I'm the only one having it. Ever since FS98, I seem to recall having this issue, but it's gotten quite a bit stronger in FSX. It seems as though the sim is running at about 7/8 normal speed, then every few seconds, irregularly, it'll catch up, and the screen will jerk to the right spot. This happens most frequently near the runway (inside or out), and especially on replay (talking about FSX). Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?Comments, questions, suggestions?E
