Menu size...

Featured Replies

I know this is a dumb subject but I haven't seen anything on it.FS04 adjusts very nicely to my 19" LCD monitor at 1280X1024 but the menus stay at 800X600 and are tiny on my screen. I get real tired of the postage stamp sized 3D display of the aircraft I'm contemplating taking for a joy ride. Not to mention squinting at the flight planner. :( Please tell me that the menus will adjust to larger displays in FSX... pretty please! :-lol

This is a must feature, especially with my 21" 1600x1200 LCD.I've heard the menus will be 1024x768 this time (compared to 800x600 with 2004), but why the heck can't it be adjusted to your screen resolution?

I think they're bitmaps and so cant be resized (without looking stretched).I think its the same for the map view.

I also play at 1280 x 1024 and it can get very irritating at times. This brings up a question I had and don't know if it has been adressed before. When the anti aliasing is set at 8x will the aircraft menu still be black?

>I think they're bitmaps and so cant be resized (without>looking stretched).Which would be a great reason to not do them as bitmaps.Regards,http://www.bremmekamp.com/img/misc/avsim.jpg

I agree totally. The screens could still be made to look good without doing the entire thing as a non resizable bitmap. Especially map view! Such a shame that it can't be resized (AFAIK).
