I fly X-Plane 11 on an iMac and use a Saitek joystick for flight control. With all of my aircraft except the Carenado PC-12 the throttle lever on the joystick generates positive thrust from 0 to 100% unless I engage reverse thrust with the assigned button. On the PC-12 the throttle lever range includes reverse thrust, which makes it nearly impossible to reduce throttle to flight idle on descents without accidentally engaging reverse thrust.

Does anyone know of a way to modify this throttle behavior?

Update: I made a mistake on the involved aircraft, it's the Shade Tree Micro Aviation model rather than the Carenado. Otherwise everything is the same.
