Landing AI Traffic And Making Use Of Runway Speeds?

Recommended Posts

Guest baksteen33

Hi folks, I wanted to send the following to tellfs@microsoft.com but it kept bouncing back... :-) ******Dear FS team In dense FS9 AI environments, it sometimes takes a long time for AI AC to clear the runway. During this time, the RW remains blocked for other AI AC which 'only' want to cross it (for example in parallel RW environments). Since it's pretty obvious AI AC enter taxi-mode after slowing down, I wonder whether it would be possible to let the AI-program indicate 'runway free' as soon as the landed AC are in taxi-mode to allow other AI movement? I'm hoping, that this would have a pretty nice influence on AI-traffic fluidity in general and allow more operations. If this is a non-starter because it's i.e. against the FAA rules and ACES don't want to break them, please neglect. Thanks for taking your time, kind regards Jaap ******
