TThis month, we fly to Wellington International airport with either the Canadian Xpress Airbus A320-211, Boeing B737-700 or Boeing B757-200F that are available to all pilots regardless of rank, but only for the challenge.

Wellington has a reputation for rough and turbulent landing even in larger aircraft due to the channeling effect of Cook Strait creating strong and gusty winds, especially in prefrontal north westerly conditions.
