Cannot select departure runway w/o a SID

In short, any airport that doesn't have a SID will not show any departure runways for me in the FMC.

For example, if I create KOSU - KDTW and try to select my departure runways, the list is blank. No SID nor runways listed. My airplane is sitting on runway 5. 
Alternatively, I could create KDTW - KOSU and select KOSU as the arrival and there are STAR/runways listed. Is this a learning lesson for me and it is just a normal function of any airport without a SID listed, or should there be departure runways listed regardless?

I am using P3D with the most recent Navigraph chart update applied.
