Worldwide release date?

Please is there any info about whether "holiday 2006" is a worldwide release date? Many times we must wait weeks to months while everyone else is having fun (not fair). We only just got the Xbox 360 :-roll (not that I bought it).

FS2004 was released worldwide on the same day.A few dealers broke their contracts by shipping early, but that was not Microsoft's doing.
