FSX and visibility transitions...

Featured Replies

Hi all!I looked all the FSX screenshots, but none of them shows if the visibility is managed like FS2004. In FS2004 if you flight over a "clear visibility" area, all the scenery is "clear", so you don't know if near an airport the visibility is limited because FS2004 don't support local visibility conditions. FS2004 supports only local wheater condition but not local visibility conditions. This is a serious problem, because if you have to land to an airport you can find low visibility in two seconds!!! *** I HOPE THAT MICROSOFT TEAM READS THIS MESSAGE TO IMPROVE FSX WITH LOCAL VISIBILITY FEATURE ***If you have any comments...Best RegardsAQUI

Well I for sure would like to see better visibility handling aswell. How about a possibility to characterize the cause of lower visibility as mist, fog, smoke, smog, dust, sand, haze etc. That could have a dramatic impact on the immersion and feeling of the sim, because sun light does get absorbed and reflected differently of the different types of low vis.We can still dream can't we! :-hah cheers,CG
