This is just a thought. I believe in progress, but I also believe that some of us will not make the trip. I think the new sim is a great leap forward, BUT: Some will conclude that, overall, it is too expensive and complicated to deal with Vista, DX??, and so on. They will stick with FS9 and XP until it is no longer fun, or until too many new goodies are for FSX Vista only, then they will fade away from the cyber airways as they spend more time with their guitars or power tools or whatever, or maybe even their families. I was hyped about building a super XP machine for the sim, but now - who knows? On the other hand, super XP machines make great recording studios, too. I need to practice my Travis Picking more, anyway.

In all that we do in life this decision comes up all the time whether "it's too expensive". If you have the finances and a passion for aviation, you will probably not worry about that. If you're unemployed or earn very little you will probably have to stay happy with what you have until you have the means. I have a passion for aviation since I was born and have been with the franchise since the beginning & I will find a way to not make it expensive and continue.Carmine http://forums.avsim.net/images/wave.gifhttp://img155.imageshack.us/img155/7118/phoenixtp8mg.jpg
