Zibo 737 overhead switches Lua Script help

Featured Replies

Hi all, I am pretty new to this and do not have a great deal of experience with fly with Lua so I am in need of major help.

I have built an overhead panel with 2 function switches for most lights, 3 function switches for seat belts, apu etc.. and 2 decoders for engine starts. I have them all connected to a Leo Bodnar 64 button card http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=300

i have managed to set up the basics such as fuel pumps using create_switch which seem to be working fine. I then get to a couple of issues:

1. When I get to 3 position switches like the smoking signs I can get it to the on position, then to return to the auto position when the switch is off but I cannot get it to program the switch to the off position. I best I can get it to flip to the off position but it moves straight back to the auto position.

2. I have used create_switch for my rotary encoders for each positions however only when I turn them they only move to cont and flt.

3. I cannot get things like taxi lights, apu switch and generator switches from read only to write able to be able to assign a switch to them.

i have been sat at this for 2 days reading different forums and have tried many different methods and seem to be getting nowhere so any help will be great fully received or if anyone has any plugins recommendations that will help.

many thanks in advance - Sean
