I had to reinstall FS2004 a month or so back. I have also installed the patch. Now I'm having a problem I never had before. Whenever I have the GPS open and I pick either a VOR, NDB, Airport, whatever, and hit either ENTER or DIRECT TO, FS goes to a black screen with just the cursor. I look at the Task Manager and it says NOT RESPONDING.This only happens if I have a flight plan loaded.Any clues as to why this is happening?Thanks.

I had a similar problem a year or so ago and an uninstall/reinstall of my ATI video card drivers fixed the problem.Ciao,Jim

Thanks, Jim. You were right on the money. I downloaded the new driver for my card and it works like a champ.
