Darker skies in Flight Simulator 2002/ 2000?

Featured Replies

Hi,I've recently started to get into Flight Sim 2002 (and 2000) and although the night- time graphics seem generally pretty good to me, I do wish that there was some way of making the skies darkr. As they are they tend to be "only" dark blue. Most of the times I've flown at night the skies have tended to be virtually black. I think darker skies, approaching black in hue, would create a more realistic experience, but so far I've been unable to find any patch to darken the skies. Can anyone help? If so, thanks!

hello,I do not think that it has anything to do with FS. My skies at night are really ink black. You might want to check the color settings in your graphics card, that might help. I configured mine in such a way that FS colors are optimal.Robystar

Or set a separate colour sig on your monitor settings. Easy to switch using the monitor controls as it's not something you need to pause or leave the sim for.Allcott
