From a question in another thread, i just realized that some might be not aware about glass cockpits in FSX ..Only the Deluxe Version of FSX will contain the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit, so watch out for a Avsim thread on Oct. 18th whining "yuck, i bought the standard version" ...To keep you busy until FSX release date, check out these links:1) http://www.garmin.com : The G1000 manuals are available as PDF for free. A G1000 PC Simulator is available for a few bucks.2) http://www.avidyne.com/products/demo.shtm : Avidyne is another manufacturer of glass cockpits. Their EX5000 PC Simulator is available as a free download. PDF manual is included in the download.There are some differences between Garmin G1000 and Avidyne EX5000, but if you know one, you should be able to adapt to the other one within minutes ..
