FSX Runway Assignment Question

I've not been active here for quite some time but find that I need to ask a question.One, if not the, most frustrating things to me about FS9 are the downwind runway assignments. In the last two days I've flown two legs, the first Tijuana - Farmington, NM (MMTJ - KFMN) and the second Farmington to St. Joe, MO. In both instances I got a downwind runway assignment utilizing RW weather that had a a high CI thin scattered cover, 20 miles visibility... in short, severe VFR. At Farmington, the wind was 18 kt G23 directly on the tail.I've held off committing to FSX waiting to see if this gets fixed.The question: Has FSX fixed this?????? How do the rest of the absolute realists out there handle this?ThanksBobL
