October 11, 200619 yr I was able to get FS9 days after it's release a little over 3 years ago thanks to an nVidia card that killed my motherboard. I was then able to build a new, more powerful state-of-the-art pc at the time. Now I'm still running FS9 with what was then toted as the upcoming "amazing third-party scenery and aircraft" on a powerful pc. Indeed it has been amazing and to this very day, the sim gives me a rush of adrenaline that makes those first days pale. Now I watch as more and more of us start the same routine with FSX. What's interesting is watching so many talk about how the upcoming "amazing third-party scenery and aircraft" will improve the sim in the years ahead. However, in the "years ahead", as now, when the sim matures to it's fullest, everyone will be awaiting the release of FS11!:-hah I will almost certainly upgrade to FSX! It looks great despite some of the issues presented on this forum. But right now, reading the posts in this forum is better than having Halle and Angelina on each arm. (Well, not really :-lol ). For now, I'm gonna continue my adrenaline rush from FS9 and all my addons as I now fly with that upcoming "amazing third-party scenery and aircraft" with a powerful pc. FS9 is now at it's fullest potential and on the right computer, it just doesn't get any better! Ed Lin, D.O.S.
