Finally got FS9 to preform the way I wanted...

...a few days before the next version is released.I recently made some upgrades and loving FS9. Got a new video card Gainward Bliss 7800GS+, and bought the RealityXP T an N gauges. Added more Georender scenery to go with FlyTampa KSEA and Flight Scenery Portland.I am only CPU bound with AI traffic. A long time ago I converted all my GA traffic to a 1% setting and use the main slider control to adjust my Commercial traffic. With FSX I guess you know have a slider for each instead of one over all.Other than having my Commercial traffic at 10% I have all sliders to the right, 3-d clouds, and high detail on everything.Got my monitor set to 1440x900 AA set 8xS, AF 16X.The finishing touch was the fact that with all the addon fields I fly to with I no longer need airport environment files to cause those slight stutters and replaced them with the default files. Now I get a solid 20FPS almost 96% of my flight with coulds.I'll buy FSX and patch the auto gen to fly default only but seeing those XP gauges and those 3d clouds and a stutter free flight with no more tweaking neededin FS9...well not sure exactly which sim I will use more often.Plus I will probably get another 2 gigs of ram to bring it up to 3gigs total. My system specs are a P3.2, 7800agp card with 512ram, 1 gig ram, Seagate hard drive, XP pro.
