October 13, 200619 yr Hi guys,Hope you can steer me :0) in the right direction. I have tried several times to fly the default 737 into an ILS approach but cannot seem to get the course line to rotate about the HSI to set up for the ILS. With the ILS freq in the Nav one radio, the CDI shows the deflection from the ILS course heading but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the course line to rotate when I rotate the course knob on the autopilot panel. I have read the FSX Help files but still no clue. I have made sure that I am in NAV mode as well when attempting the approach...Any suggestions? Is it just me? Should I go back to FS2004 Ground School? Thanks for any and all repliesfly safeDave in Alaska
October 14, 200619 yr If I recall correctly the indicator on the auto pilot dash is for the heading bug. To rotate the course line you have to click on the number(top right corner I think) located on the MFD that displays the CDI, its not actually on the auto pilot panel.
