Display on Vizio TV goes dark when Xplane11 boots

Featured Replies

Just getting into flight simulation and purchased X-Plane-11.  Using Honeycomb controll.  I have a 55 inch Vizio LED TV that works fine, but does not have bluetooth.  I want to use the display from this tv while using X-plane.  I connect the tv to my HP laptop with an HDMI cord.  The desktop appears on laptop and Vizio.  As soon as I click on the X-plane icon, the Vizio screen goes dark with the exception of the mouse pointer when remains illuminated and work well on the Vizio screen.  I have another 55 inch smart tv that I tried the X-Plane on and the display works great with the simulator.  I believe on one attempt the vizio did display the X-Plane screen.

A ny help will be greatly appreciated by this newbie.  Thanks all.
