May 6, 20206 yr I posted my troubles over at LM’s site but haven’t gotten any feedback yet. Off and on I’ve lost the ability to connect P3D with my iPad and apps such as WingX or Foreflight. This is in absence of any obvious system changes; I believe last time around I ended up reinstalling Windows 10 to resolve. Add ons such as LINDA, FSUIPC and ActiveSky work - confusing me. The apps work with plane, so I tend the pin the blame on Simconnect SOMEHOW. I have uninstalled all three simconnect installations, rebooted and reinstalled. I did not see a simconnect.xml and hence created one, to no avail. My firewall is off, during this process. Both this and the .ini file mirror examples I have found via online searching, and I have verified proper locations of each. The following are my files, minus the IP address of 10.0.0.184 discovered using IPCONFIG. C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\P3D v4 SimBase.Document Type="SimConnect" version="1,0"><Descr>SimConnect</Descr><Filename>SimConnect.xml</Filename><Disabled>False</Disabled><SimConnect.Comm><Disabled>False</Disabled><Protocol>IPv4</Protocol><Scope>global</Scope><MaxClients>64</MaxClients><Address>your servers ip adress</Address><Port>500</Port><MaxRecvSize>8192</MaxRecvSize><DisableNagle>False</DisableNagle></SimConnect.Comm><SimConnect.Comm><Disabled>False</Disabled><Protocol>Auto</Protocol><Scope>local</Scope></SimConnect.Comm></SimBase.Document> C:\Users\your username\Documents\Prepar 3D v4Files: [SimConnect]level=Verboseconsole=Nofile=c:\SimConnect%01u.Logfile_next_index=1file_max_index=9 I’d really like to resolve this if I can, help is appreciated.
