October 19, 200619 yr There are quite a few of those blue HL planes out there, but I'm guessing you painted this one?http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.sear...inct_entry=trueI noticed a few minor differences between the two, but at a glance it looks remarkably similar :) The differences could result from limitations of FSX, of course - for example, the winglet textures might not offer enough resolution for adding the "TUi smiley" on them and there's probably nothing you can do about the color, size and position of the registration. Also, the logotype doesn't look quite as "round" and "full" as the official one, but that might be due to the way the texture is wrapped around the plane. If it isn't the official font / logotype, though, you could use the one offered here:http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/search/?qu...&brand_id=46608Unfortunately this doesn't include the WWW address, so unless you have the official TUi font available you're still left with what you used before :(All-in-all the repaint looks nice though :)
October 19, 200619 yr Yes, but i could not find any for the new FSX so i painted this one. The 04 planes i can not get the sound to work in FSX. I skinned this using the new Default FSX 737-800 in the game.As for the Fonts i used the ones i found online for this type of plane. I will take a look at what you have as well. Can never have too many fonts :)I added a few more minor details but as for the smiley on the winglets i tried to add them but the way this model was mapped they come out backwards on one side. If i could edit this jet in Gmax i could resolve this but not sure if that can be done so for now i left them off the winglets.Heres the finalThx
October 19, 200619 yr Yeah, I figured it had something to do with the model's limitations :) It's a very nice paint job regardless, I'll definately download it when it appears on AVSim's file library!
