Another view question (Ultralight)

First of all, I do not like the default zoom of the Ultralight. I always set it to 0.40. I changed the entry in the aircraft.cfg, but FS X doesn't see that change: it still default to 0.75 (or something like that). What's up...?I'd also like to change another setting: when I press Ctl-space the view defaults too high to my liking: at a zoom of 0.40 it defaults so I can see the horizontal bar at he bottom of the screen. But I would really like to look down a bit so I can see the instruments of the Ultralight at once. Now I have pan down everytime. (And I do not mean the Shift-Backspace 'down'!) Is there any way to make a certain downlooking view the default one?
