P3Dv4 resets cloud textures to default

Hi, I'm currently flying a long haul and I'm cruising. The problem I'm experiencing is with REX Sky Force and it consists of the cloud and sky textures restoring to default P3D textures while in-flight. I can temporarily fix it by forcing REX to install the textures again, but the problem persists and when I exit the ~40NM of clouds that REX loads into the sim, the textures immediatly go back to the default ones.

I'm using max cloud coverage and render distance in the P3D settings.
