Featured Replies

Howdy,I got FSX yesterday and love it.Just like all of you it I have poor frame rates and my planes come up blurry (Including the cockpit).I was wondering the easiest ways to improve framerates (I dont want to mess around to much with configuration but if I have to I will) and the best settings for scenery, aircraft, traffic, and all the settings. Thanks for your help in advanceRunning: Gateway MX710 Laptop with Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 2 Mobile AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3400+ 787 mhz and 448mb of ram

It's probably well worth reading the posts over the last few weeks as there's a huge amount of discussion on this heated subject. This is a useful site with information on the various tweaks: http://www.fox-fam.com/wordpress/?page_id=41Best regards, Chris

If you set the global texture resolution slider all the way right to very high this usually prevents the cockpit textures from dropping to lower res blurred textures. Phil
