Just to much playing around, flying over LA looking west at the mountains flying in summer and winter I did not see any change!the groud in this sim as a lot of tan color in it for some reason!I will keep the game but wiat for the patchs on it.my coumpter is not the best! 2.8G, 2G ram ATI 1600 pro 512 AGP card.I think there are alot of problems with this sim. My friend tells mehe called Microsoft and was told that by Chritmas there will be somesetup patchs out for it, meaning the display setting are to hard toset up for some people like me. What ever is a set up patch?Good luck to all!!!!

When you run the sim for the very first time it analyses your hardware to determine optimum display settings. I suspect these so-called "setup patches" allow FSX to recognise a wider range of hardware combinations.

To be honest. If anybody has FS9 and lots of addons I would go back 2.Since I only had a couple addons for my FS9 it will not be a big deal for me. Still for those that like bush flying FSX can't be beat. If city flying is your thing you will have trouble.FSX needs time and some patching help.
