Easter Egg in Mid West Fly-in mission?

Last Night I was flying a few of the missions. After completing the Mid West Fly-in a rather bizarre event happened. A Beaver took of from the resevoir. I took off from the apron just messing around trying to chase it. Well it circled around and banked hard and low right for the runway. I was thinking what is he doing? He's only got floats! Then he actually kept turning and nearly hit the fly-in tents, crash landed on the apron, and skidded onto the grass. I'm thinking something like this has got to be an Easter egg.
