P3d v5 Slows After Menu Access

P3d v5 runs fine. Whenever I access any menu item and return to the simulator the sky turns dark (like it is reloading shaders) Then the scene returns to normal but there is no sound and the FPS is around 0.5. I can still access menus or exit the program after a delay.

Problem came out of nowhere. Have cleared shaders (multiple times) and rebuilt config. Have run repair on Content and Client modules.

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X

Gigabyte Aorus X470 Gaming 7 WiFi CF

32 GB Gskill-2132 (running @ 3600)  F4-3600C16-16GTZNC

Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti 11GB

Samsung SSD 870 EVO 1TB

Latest Windows release

NVIDIA driver (GeForce 451.48)
