AC Conversion from FS9 to FSX- What could be missing?

Featured Replies

AllI mention Eaglesoft here only because they were first off the line to offer up 2 of their FS9 AC for FSX and I hope they can offer some first hand information. I have a few questions which will be helpful to myself and others when deciding on a purchase. Good Morning Sim community!!!When A/C is converted or ported i.e. originally available in FS9, is some of the code reuseable in a sense that it could be used in such a manner that it may not take advantage of a new feature offered by FSX but still work in a legacy fashion i.e. as it did in FS9? I think some had mentioned that the gauge clarity in FSX is much better and also gauge fluidity is much better. Head latency etc to mention a few improvements.I guess to be perfectly clear on this, I need to know before buying an aircraft what FSX features will not be available. There are some examples of AC that some have been able to move into FSX which is why I ask these questions. It doesnt seem possible that a user conversion could automatically take advantage of any new features in FSX. I just want to make sure I dont buy an Aircraft and find out later that head latency has been excluded, or the developer did not take advantage of the new gauge programming. Maybe this is all automatic, but I dont know that.RegardsBob
