New System - Can anyone give me some optimization tips?

Hello,

After using pretty modest systems for the last couple of decades, I decided to do something I've never done and upgrade to a high-end gaming machine. The performance in P3Dv5 doesn't feel much different from my old system, however, so I'm wondering what I should do boost my FPS/performance. Right now I'm getting around 25-30 FPS at Orbx airports.

Are my settings just too ambitious? I was thinking this system would be able to handle anything I threw at it, so I'm interested to know what I'm doing wrong, or if 25-30 FPS is the best I can hope for at demanding add-on airports.
