October 24, 200619 yr hi All,My FS X just did a weird trick. On the LCD monitor on DVI(specs below), the FPS kept around 8-9 with certain parameters (optimized after reading all the posts (renaming default.bak etc etc). Once I switched the sindle monitor display to CRT (an old Gateway vx900) things seemed to be the same till I increased the res to 1600x1024. All of a sudden the FPS jumped to >20 and even after maxing out all the parameters it remained >14. Beautiful pixel shading etc. I will try to post some images later on. Has anyone noticed this ??!!System: Dell XPS Gen 2, P4 3.2, 2 gig RAM, 250 G WD SATA (with only the FS X on it !!)., nVidia XFX 6800 XTreme - 256 DDR3. Monitors: Dell LCD 18", Gateway CRT 19".Here are the images:
