October 28, 200619 yr In FS9 it wasn't possible to store FX files on a per-aircraft basis (like gauges could be stored in the panel folder instead of the common Gauges folder) - the only way to use them was to put them all in one directory. This caused unnecessary clutter that I'd like to avoid this time around.Does FSX allow us to store FX files in some other directory than the default Effects one? Sort of like how the SimObjectPaths declaration works in fsx.cfg, allowing us to differentiate between default planes and add-on planes?
