Simulation Rate + Rewind landing

Hi, 

I have a few questions:

1) I want to accelerate the simulation rate. I am using the R command (with + and -). However, when I use them, there is not a measure of how fast/slow the simulation is, so it's very hard to control. Any suggestions?

2) Also, how can I skip long flights from 1 airport to the other ? Any suggestions? 

3) When I land, I would like to see a recorded repetition of my landing (FSX used to have that option). How can I do that?
