August 21, 20205 yr Hello all, After 2 days of getting used to the new UI and trying out a few planes, I had a truly amazing experience last night. I flew the DA40NG from LFCG to LFIM, LFCB and back and I could navigate my way using the maps I was using IRL and spotting the landmarks. It was an amazing feeling to be able to fly again in this region and my old GTX1060 was able to deliver a enjoyable experience (averaging around 20fps at 3440x1440, the rest of the PC has been recently updated). Anyone looking for an interesting landing should checkout LFCB! This sim has so much potential! I do however have a few questions and/or feedbacks: in P3D, I enjoyed being able to review my flight trajectory after the flight, both in the horizontal and vertical planes (to be to check how clean my approaches are for instance). Is this possible in this sim? Some grass airfields are very difficult to spot. IRL these fields would be mark with white platic cones clearly visible from the sky, but this wasn't the case in the sim. For instance LFIM is barely visible. Is there a way to cycle through the various knobs of the cockpit using a mappable input ? I would like to be able to use a generic axis on my HOTAS to adjust the radios, vor obs, altimeter setting, etc... and cycle through the selected setting. Ideally the currently selected setting should be highlighted in the cockpit. Is there a way to display higher resolution satellite imagery on the world map? That would be useful for VFR flight planning. In addition, I like the wind layer, but it would be best if the wind direction woud be displayed in addition of the wind speed. When selecting live weather and moving the time slider in the past, does the sim download and apply historical weather? I am missing a stopwatch function in the DA40NG, is still something that can be accessed easily in the G1000? Has anyone been able to successfully use the X52 MFD to control radios ?
