October 28, 200619 yr In FS9 when I changed the eyeball elevation each tap of the keys bought a significant change. For a pretty bad flier like myself, whose idea of an ILS landing is "Hey, I'm doing good if I can just hit the runway! (even sideways)" I kinda miss the changing eyeball thing. In FSX when I use Shift+Enter I don't see any elevating of the eyball on approach except when I'm on the ground. Is there anything on my part I can do to enhance being able to change the eyeball where it changes more rapidly than it does? Thanks.Rich Garber
October 28, 200619 yr Hido you have a four way button you can assign like i do???i assign each button in your control assignment button settings you will seeeyepoint Move UP.i assign a button for that and turn on Repeat for it.eyepoint Move DOWN.assign another button, turn on repeat...and so on.i also program Move LEFT and RIGHT to two more buttons, and also turn on REPEAT for each of them..the REPEAT switch means you don't have keeps pressing the button.it will scroll smoothly UP and DOWN,LEFT or RIGHT.this way if you want to Raise your head up in the VC,you can do it without using the Keyboard.also you can move left or right in the VC(into 1st officers seat) if you wanti should add that i use Chpro Yoke Throttle and Pedals.the Throttle has a couple of Four way switches, one of them i use for the Eyepoint movement i just explained to you...:) hope you can understand this any problems let me know steve
October 28, 200619 yr Thanks Steve for the suggestion and that's a solid idea. I have the CH Yoke and CH joystick (with all kinds of 4ways, buttons and things) too. I'll do your suggestion. But what I'm really getting on about is, is it that minute of an adjustment? If you've ever seen the movie It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World and where Buddy Hacket is staggering the plane all over the place is about what my landings look like especially if I can't see the runway for the elevation of the nose. So my plea on this is it possible like FS9 to be able to elevate the eyeball more drastically. Between the ATC always finding the most inconvienent times to strike up a conversation and my inability to fly in a straight line things get really busy.Rich Garber
