Microsoft flight sim 2020

Featured Replies

First off, I’m new to this site so please pardon me if my rant is in the wrong place. I have owned every Microsoft Flight Sim since it’s inception. That has been many years. I have a home built cockpit and was so excited that Microsoft was coming out with a new flight sim for 2020. I went as far as buying a new computer for the demanding requirements this sim had to offer. After purchasing the deluxe version and 26 hours of downloading I finally got the sim opened. I was disappointed to say the least. No 2 d panel for the cockpit, no windows I could click on and move to another screen. I guess I’m old and just not into the 3 d cockpit as with multiple screens the only thing I could do was stretch the screen. In my opinion which is only my opinion which everyone has one, this sim was more of a game rather than a sim. I did infact receive a full refund from the Microsoft Store. In time maybe it will get better. I’m not a gamer, just an old fart wanna be pilot who thought the new sim would be like fsx but with better graphics. I must say the graphics were awesome but to me having something easy to navigate as in fsx with better graphics would have been great. Just my 2 cents but I did get a full refund and will revisit this sim in a year or so if it will work for my setup. I have all of the CH products controls and the MFP which doesn’t work because ch products doesn’t have anyone to write the software for windows 10. Also have the desktop pilot switches which are the bomb. Anyway, I’m back to fsx and hope someday the new 2020 version will  work for my needs. Keep the wings level and happy flying.
