Demo causes FS2004 hang

Anyone else had this problem? I downloaded and installed the FSX demo, and it worked fine. Then when I tried to run my FS2004 however, it hung up on the splash screen. Uninstalling the FSX demo didn't fix the problem - I had to uninstall and re-install FS2004 and all its add-ons.Richard
