FSX Tower Radar Screen Problems

I am an avid ATC hoster, and I've been having a problem with the radar screen when in Tower mode. The radar works fine for a few minures, however after switching it off, then returning to it, it doesn't work. Since I've only been controlling a tower, this hasn't hampered me from performing tower functions. However if I need to track someone outside of a towers airspace, forget it!Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone know a possible solution?
