Engine sound disappers in spot view?

I have noticed that when I switch to spot view and look forward the engine sound disappers completely! When I start panning it increases a bit but is 'normal' only when I pan to front side of the plane.. is it just my settings...?Niko

It's funny as I've found the same sort of thing in VC view. Only noticed it on the 747 and 787. Not tried all the aircraft yet though but other are OK. I thought it may have something to do with the sound settings but tried setting my sound system to stereo and made no difference. Anyone ?
