Default 787: Can't do anything after disabling autopilot

Featured Replies

Hi,

I don't know if anyone else has run into this problem, but it someone has, and maybe has a solution, then that would be fantastic.

So today I did a flight using the default 787. As I approached the runway for landing, I decided, just for fun, to disable the autopilot a bit earlier than usual (about 10 NM from the runway) in order to try and do a manual landing. However, after disabling the AP and Autothrottle, I was unable to do anything. Pusihing F2 or F3 had no effect whatsoever on throttle. I was not able to steer the aircraft either. It just mantained the same altitude it had prior to disabling the autpilot as if the plane was still "stuck" in some kind of AP-mode even after I switched it off. I never had this happen in any other sim before. Basically, when I switch off the AP I am used to immediately be in charge of everything. Now it just felt like all the keys on my keyboard were locked.

Is this a bug, or could there be something I did wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated!
