September 3, 20205 yr Has anyone been able to get the tobii eyetracker functional with MSFS 2020 yet. I have found a few people saying they have, one with instructions but it hasnt worked for me. If you have if you wouldnt mind letting us know how you were able to get it to function. Mine is the 4c version not sure if it makes a difference. Edited September 3, 20205 yr by JollyRogerz
September 13, 20205 yr I also use the tobii 4C. For me the only way to use it, currently, is as a headtracker. The eyetracking does not work with my method so i am patiently waiting for the official implementation. To use the 4C as a headtracker i utilized "facetrack noir". Its a program for less than 4 dollars or euros. With this, any camera would suffice. After downloading the application, installing and updating it with the latest package (Plugin-Pack for FaceTrackNoIR v203a), it works. Although it needs a lot of tweaking for sensitivity curves. I am somewhat far away from the sensor when i set up my flight sim gear, so i am not quite statisfied with this solution. If you want the eyetracking functionality to work you probably have to wait for tobii implementing MSFS 2020 to the tobii gaming hub. Have a nice day and happy landings! :)
September 16, 20205 yr Author Huh, thats crazy I have tried probably 10 times to get it working even with the facetracknoir followed a write up I seen online even went as far as uninstalling Tobi software and facetrack and reinstall with no luck. I was able to get a android app to work with little to no effort, really aggrivates me with the lack of support for anything from Tobii, but hey should have bought trackir instead I guess.
