FS2020 freeze on final approach.

Featured Replies

Today I was flying a two hour flight and on final approach to Boeing field on the TBM930 FS2020 froze.

Sometimes I do get microstutters and freezes but the sim doesn't crash.

I could use other programs on my second monitor and I could hear the sounds on FS2020.

I also checked the Windows Task Manager and the Power usage on FS2020 was on Very High, but otherwise nominal on CPU and memory use.

I wonder what could have caused the crash on final approach ?

What bugs me the most I dont know what caused the crash as I had to quit FS2020 by force and the flight hours weren't logged in my logbook.

Same has also happened on final approach to Auckland so I think it has something to do with big cities as with small city airports there hasn't been any crashes.
