September 30, 20205 yr Like those that have delved deeper into the game and looked at overall performance matters i.e FPS, settings for the game and graphics card etc, I too found myself checking everything as I could not understand why I was hitting poor numbers with a fairly good PC setup. So bringing up the developer mode I noticed CPU, GPU and coherent draw issues and delved deeper. Response times slow with lots of red issues! I setup my 2070 8gb through the nvidia app using their FS2020 game settings. I found online the optimum settings others had found for the the game itself and changed thru options, then I found a truly handy discovery that changed my frame rates massively. Someone had found that coherent draw affects the instruments or is affected by them so I turned off the screens to all my cockpit instruments and noticed a big leap forward. Obviously I need those instruments to fly so reset them back and thought, I remember seeing instruments displayed in external view! So I turned them off in options and bloody hell... I'm now hitting 55 - 59 FPS and no game crashes, just smooth lovely and enjoyable flight. I hope this works for you too.
