FS X &FS 9

Recommended Posts

I purchased FSX, tried it on a high end system(was high end 3 years ago),found it to be most unstable, did some tweaking as suggested by some well meaning people, tried it again, still unstable, did some more tweaking, still unstable. Returned to FS9 & acquired an even greater appreciation for the performance of this program. I have uninstalled FSX & placed it on the shelf. If & when a patch ever occurs I may revisit FSX.

You gave up too quick - FSX is great looking, the aircraft fly more realistically AND it can be made stutter free. I spent an hour adding some cfg entires from this forum, and I have a really superb looking and fluid sim.Oh, a three year old system is not going to be high end now ;-)Ray Keattch
