I purchased FSX, tried it on a high end system(was high end 3 years ago),found it to be most unstable, did some tweaking as suggested by some well meaning people, tried it again,still unstable, did some more tweaking, still unstable. Returned to FS9 & acquired an even greater appreciation for the performance of this program. I have uninstalled FSX & placed it on the shelf.If & when a patch ever occurs I may revisit FSX.

You gave up too quick - FSX is great looking, the aircraft fly more realistically AND it can be made stutter free. I spent an hour adding some cfg entires from this forum, and I have a really superb looking and fluid sim.Oh, a three year old system is not going to be high end now ;-)Ray Keattch
