November 11, 200619 yr How do I get the wing floats? They are folded up I assume, how does one go about unfolding them? Dumb question probably, but I can't figure it out LOL.
November 11, 200619 yr The standard keyboard layout has no keys assigned to it.You need to assign keys or buttons first via controls settings in FSX.There are two seperate commands for floats up and floats down, no toggle command.PS: You can of course also use the correct lever/switch in the 3d cockpit.
November 11, 200619 yr In the 2D panel open the overhead window (SHIFT-6). There is a switch for the floats. Also when flying a mission with the Goose, in the Overview Tab they tell how to access and use it:"* Be sure to raise the wingtip floats after takeoff. Lower them for a water landing, and raise them when approaching a dock. The wingtip float switches are located on the left side of the overhead panel (press SHIFT+6 to display the panel in 2D Cockpit view)." Jozef K. http://homepages.onsnet.nu/~jkusters/signature.jpg
