November 15, 200619 yr In cruise, pitch settles in at -5 degrees... this is totally unacceptable. Is there a simple fix in the aircraft.cfg I can do to remedy this?
November 15, 200619 yr Author I agree that -5 degrees is unacceptable. The cruise pitch attitude of any aircraft depends on altitude, airspeed and weight. So, the first remedy is to adjust the cruise conditions to a higher altitude, lower airspeed or higher weight. Any one or all of those adjustments will push the nose up.The second remedy is to edit the aircraft.cfg file and adjust the angle of wing incidence. If you do that, I can guarantee that some other flight condition (such as final approach) will be hopelessly screwed up.Needless to say, I recommend the first remedy. Give it a try. Let us know if it makes a difference.Regards,JerryH
