Landing GEAR in FSX

Featured Replies

Hello,,,I cannot get my CH produdts toggle to operate the landing gear properly,I find it best when I can set it to tap the toggle up to raise the landing gear and tap it down to put the landing gear down,,,This also prevents the accident of putting it up or down by mistake if as in some 3D panels you cannot see the gear lever or visual cues easily,,,There was a post awhile back that I tried with changes to the Standard.XML file, however the changes did not work for me,,,This is what I tried,,,>>4>GEAR_UP>>>5>GEAR_DOWN>I ammended the Controls folder with those corretions and still NO go,,,Hoping for some great advice here,,,I enjoy FSX, but for the life of me don't know why they changed this from previous versions,,,Thanks,,,Dean

Steve,,,Thanks a Million,,,I saw the difference,Changed it and still did not work,For some reason it was not saving the changes properly,But with trial and error,,,And much determination,I GOT IT,,,Everything works perfect now,,,Hopefully this will result in less belly landings,That really messes up my fun,,,Thanks a million, and Thanks to all those who posted to help before,Dean
