November 19, 200619 yr Here is what I've found as far as getting baggage unloaded or loaded on to a plane. First, make sure your parking spot has the baggage trucks parked at your spot. If not, park at a gate where they are (I know, it may not be realistic to change parking spots on the fly). When you park, make sure your front wheels stop right on the "T" at the end of the taxi line at the gate. Once parked, I attach the jetway (Ctrl J). Then I open the main exit (shift E, 1) then I open the cargo doors (shift e, 2). If you have done everything right, the baggage unloader truck should start making it's way to the cargo door followed by the baggage carrier after that. If you sit long enough for a few minutes, they will finish up and return to their parking spots. If things don't work, here is what I've found to get them moving! Once parked, go into slew mode (y) and slowly move your plane back and then forward. I use the open main exit to line this up. Make sure the door fits into the jetway like it should in real life. Once I do this, the baggage trucks start moving...Also, you may want to turn off the "airplane can collide with other aircraft" option in the settings. I've had a baggage truck do it's thing and then pull away and clip my plane, causing a crash and resetting my flight...Al
November 19, 200619 yr I noticed that powering down the engines sometimes also helps to "trigger" the baggage loader and cart.
