November 29, 20205 yr I was having the same problems as many people with the Twist / Rudder axis on my T16000 going haywire. It was constantly jerking to one side and not going to the other side at all. This was showing up in the Thrustmaster tool as well as MSFS 2020. I had replugged the USB connection several times, and also rebooted the PC several times, but it did not go away. It was plugged into a USB 3 port on the front of the PC case. I then moved it to a USB 2 port on the front of the case, and the problem almost went away. I then moved it to a USB 3 port on the back of the computer (i.e. one connected directly to the motherboard) and the problem seems to have gone away completely. It's conceivable that the issue may have been caused by an Elgato Stream Deck that was also plugged into the front of the case, and that the USB connection to the front of the case was becoming overloaded. However, while this won't resolve issues with dirty potentiometers in the Thrustmaster, it is worth a try. Ian.
