November 24, 200619 yr How is wind speed/direction changes affecting aircraft in FSX?Is it still like FS9, where a jump in speed and/or direction will cause an instant drop/rise in airspeed? Or has this been sorted?Even using FSUIPC to smooth wind in FS9, as the wind changes, you can still see the speed tape go up and down, and can still cause problems with planes levelling off mid climb or starting to dive down in descent.
November 24, 200619 yr Hi Phil,Because of a problem in SimConnect, I think the problem is worse; because right now, no 3rd parth software can smooth the shifts. MS has stated that they will continue to update Sim Connect for us, but no timetable has been set.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
