Request for sound files

I'm endeavoring to create background environment sounds which will make the unrealistic silence of the "hanging about waiting for something to happen" environment a thing of the past for those FSXers who are the AI observing types, rather than the flyers. Technically I know how to do this, but I don't have any suitable sound files, hence I'm looking for one (or several) WAV files which could be used to create this. What I'm looking for is freeware files of around 2-3 minutes in length, that have no jarring or distracting sounds... distant birds twittering and distant road traffic sounds would be ideal, maybe airport/industrial sounds. The important aspect is that any sounds are distant and not in the foreground.If there is anyone on AVSIM forums that has access to sound recording equipment or knows someone who could arrange for such WAV files to be recorded please get in touch.
